Inpatient Addiction Care
Our multidisciplinary inpatient team coordinates care to meet each patient’s individual needs. Patients receive chemical health stabilization and treatment services, including:
- Individual and group counseling
- Nursing services
- Personalized treatment plans
Treatment is also available for those diagnosed with a co-existing mental illness.
Our Addiction Medicine Unit is a MN Rule-31 federally-licensed facility that is able to treat patients in opioid withdrawal.
Outpatient Addiction Care
Our primary outpatient program offers morning or evening sessions. Our mental health outpatient clinic provides psychiatry and psychology services and an addiction counselor coordinates care. We offer:
- Assessment and referrals
- Dual diagnosis program (mental health and addiction)
- Rule 25 assessments
- Relapse prevention
- Service coordination

Inpatient chemical dependency (patient care unit 2700):
- Sundays: 1 to 3 pm & 6 to 8 pm
Up to 2 adult family members are permitted to visit at the same time. Visits for children/adolescents (those under 18) may be arranged if approved by a counselor.
Inpatient mental health (patient care units 4500 & 5500):
- Daily: 7 to 8 pm
- Weekends & holidays: 10:30 to 11:30 am & 7 to 8 pm
Visitors must be 18 years of age or older.
Inpatient geriatric mental health (patient care unit 2600)
- Monday - Friday: 12 to 1 pm & 5 to 6 pm
- Weekends & holidays: 12 to 4 pm
Up to 2 adult visitors (at least 18 years old) are permitted to visit at the same time.
