Heart Failure Clinical Trial

Trial summary   

The purpose of this research study is to test if an investigational medication, compared to a standard medication, is safe and effective in reducing the complications of heart failure. These could include hospitalization for heart failure and death from cardiovascular causes. There will be office visits every 4 to 6 months during this 4 to 5-year study.

Key inclusion criteria

  • 55 years of age or older
  • Diagnosed with heart failure

Compensation for time and travel

Our research patients are closely monitored by our cardiologists, nurses and research team. The study medication and all study-related procedures and physical exams are provided to you at no cost. You will be reimbursed $50 for each study visit. Please call for more information. Valet parking is provided at no cost.

It affects nearly 6.6 million people over the age of 18 in the U.S. with an additional 3 million new cases expected by 2030.
