Interested in becoming a volunteer? The following information may be helpful to you in choosing to join the special group of people who assist our patients and staff.
Requirements
The qualities we look for in a teen volunteer are: compassion, understanding, willingness, dependability, courtesy, loyalty and a pleasant attitude. Teen volunteers must be between the ages of 15 and 18 years and meet the following requirements:
- Complete our online application
- Interview with guest services
- Provide proof of MMR immunizations and complete a Mantoux (tuberculosis) screening
- Commit to volunteer four hours, one day a week
- A minimum six month commitment is required
- Notify the volunteer office prior to any absences
