Brenda Navin, RD, LD Nutrition and Fitness Specialist
Brenda Navin graduated from the University of North Dakota with a B.S. in dietetics. She was instrumental in creating the Ways to Wellness program and is also co-manager program, focusing on operations, business and program development, and staff leadership.
Her areas of special interest include corrective exercise training, core training, interval training, and boxing fitness. She holds advanced training in corrective exercise and heart rate training.
Sara Bernstein, RD, LD Nutrition and Fitness Specialist
Sara Bernstein has earned her B.A. in psychology from the University of Minnesota and graduated from the dietetics program at Loyola University in Chicago. From there, she completed her nutrition residency at Long Island College Hospital in New York City.
Sara specializes in Pilates Reformer Training, interval training, boot camp and yoga — of which she is certified in YogaFit Level One.
Beth Dierkhising, RD, LD Nutrition and Fitness Specialist
Beth Dierkhising has received her B.S. in dietetics from South Dakota State University and completed her internship at Iowa State University.
She specializes in Pilates Reformer Training, total body conditioning, resistance training and TRX suspension training.
Rachel Larson, RD, LD Nutrition and Fitness Specialist
Rachel graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead with a B.A. in food, nutrition and dietetics and physical education studies. She completed her dietetic internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
She specializes in Pilates Reformer Training and is certified as a group and boxing fitness instructor. She has completed Yogafit Levels one through four and has additional Yogafit training in pre- and post-natal and seniors' exercise.
Pam Shepley, CHWC, PharmD Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Licensed Pharmacist
Pam Shepley earned her B.S. in biology from Gustavus Adolphus College and her doctoral degree in pharmacy at the University of Minnesota. She obtained her health & wellness coaching certification through Wellcoaches® Corporation and has received additional training in integrative medicine from the University of Minnesota's Center for Spirituality and Healing.
As a Health & Wellness Coach, Pam guides people through the process of making healthy lifestyle changes.
Stephanie Starck Skeba, RD, LD, CPT Nutrition and Fitness Specialist
Stephanie graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette and successfully completed her dietetic internship at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Chicago. After her internship, she practiced fitness and nutrition in Chicago and has immense experience with weight loss and sports nutrition.
She specializes in endurance, resistance training, marathon and triathlon training and has herself completed over 20 triathlons, marathons, and 70.3 and 140.6 Ironman events.
Lisa Somerville Wellness Coordinator
Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. She majored in health promotion-wellness and minored in health education.
Lisa has been with Woodwinds since 2004 and has completed her YogaFit certification.
Ways to Wellness Medical Director

Medical Director of Ways to Wellness, Mathew Rolando, MD, is board certified in family medicine and practices as a hospitalist at Woodwinds Health Campus. Dr. Rolando graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and completed the family medicine residency program at St. John's Hospital in Maplewood.
