Joint Camp and Joint Journey |
|
Most orthopaedic patients are different from other hospital patients. They aren't sick; they just have a bad hip or knee.
Our Joint Camp and Joint Journey programs focus on the unique needs of orthopaedic patients. You'll even wear your own exercise clothes instead of a hospital gown.
Both programs:
- Have proven results
- Help you smoothly progress from surgery to recovery
- Emphasize wellness
- Involve group rehabilitation exercises
- Engage family and friends
- Get high scores from past patients
Joint Camp & Joint Journey
These interactive group therapy sessions help you return to your active lifestyle as quickly as possible by providing you with information and support from the time your surgery is scheduled through the weeks and months following discharge from the hospital. These programs focus on returning you home following a one- to three-day hospital stay. You'll be encouraged to follow an exercise and mobility training plan after surgery.
Joint Camp is offered at the Orthopaedic Specialty Center located at Woodwinds Health Campus.
Joint Journey is offered at both St. John's Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital.
