The Resource Center provides easy access to medical, health and wellness information. The center focuses on both traditional and integrative medicine and offers an inviting atmosphere for patients, community members, staff and volunteers.

The Resource Center is open to the community Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

Health information

The Resource Center stocks health and medical resources which are available for check-out:

• Journals
• Books
• Newsletters
• Videos / DVDs
• Educational brochures

If you're looking for something specific, our staff can assist you in finding health information from our collection and from trusted health web sites.

Computer stations

The Resource Center has four computer stations, each with access to the Internet.

The computers are available for:

• Individual web site searches
• Searching and applying for jobs at Woodwinds and HealthEast
• Staff education

If you need assistance, Resource Center staff can  help you navigate to reputable health information web sites.

Literature searches and medical information

Our staff is available to conduct clinical literature searches for physicians, health professionals and community members.  The center also has medical reference books and a selection of medical journals.  Requests for medical journal articles not owned by the Resource Center are referred to HealthEast Medical Libraries at St. Joseph’s and St. John’s hospitals.
