Think of assessments as the first step toward a healthier you: We’ll help you figure out where you are in your health and wellness, and where you want to go – and then we’ll help you get there.

 

Metabolic calorie testing

Have you ever wondered how much food your body needs to maintain, gain or lose weight? This 10-minute breathing test measures your resting metabolic rate (RMR), which defines your exact calorie needs. We recommend pairing the metabolic calorie test and an in-depth consultation with our dietitian. The consultation will include a nutrition assessment, which will help you understand how to eat and when to eat to meet both the needs of your metabolism and your goals.

VO2 Max testing

VO2 Max testing is a cardio smart approach to training. It provides a precise indicator of your cardiovascular fitness level, giving you all the information you need to gauge your fitness starting point, set goals and maximize your performance. The test will be conducted on a treadmill, where you’ll start on an incline. We’ll gradually increase the incline and speed, until you hit your anaerobic threshold. After you cool down, you’ll have a consultation with our certified personal trainer. They’ll tell you what your VO2 Max results mean for your personal heartrate training zones, endurance, weight loss – and your overall well-being.

For best results, do not exercise strenuously for 24 hours prior to test or eat for 4 hours prior to testing.

BODPOD testing

The BODPOD uses air displacement technology to provide the most precise test available for measuring body fat percentages. For the test, you will sit in the BODPOD for only a few minutes, and it will provide an exact measurement of your body's muscle and fat in pounds. This is a great way to check in on your body composition or to start losing weight because you can come back, after a few months of consistent lifestyle changes, and get an accurate picture of how your body is changing.

For best results, wear tight fitting clothing and fast for 4 to 6 hours prior to the test.
