About spider veins

Spider veins are tiny veins that are red, blue or purple in color. Like varicose veins, spider veins can occur when valves in the leg veins are not working properly. The majority of these veins are considered a cosmetic problem.

Sclerotherapy - Sclerotherapy uses injections to eliminate spider veins. During treatment, a very small needle is used to inject a special solution into the spider vein.
Laser vein therapy - Laser vein therapy uses a laser to reduce the appearance of spider veins. It is quick, safe and effective. The vein is destroyed and, in time, it is is reabsorbed by the body.
