Our 11-week training clinics are designed for everyone — from walkers to experienced runners.

Clinics meet weekly and include presentations, health tips and training schedules to meet individual goals.
Coaches will give you the motivation to succeed. They'll help beginners get started and challenge experienced runners.

At the start of the running clinics, you can choose to have your body mass index (BMI), blood pressure and cholesterol tested. The same screening tests are offered after the completion of the clinics. You'll feel healthier and be able to watch your tests improve.
Weekly clinics begin Tuesday, May 12 at the Como Park West Picnic Shelter located near the miniature golf course off Midway Parkway. Click here for a map.
5:30 pm - Kick-off and speaker

You can join the training clinics any time during the 11-week session.

The training clinics are a great way to get ready for the Boston Scientific Heart of Summer 5K/10K Walk/Run.
You can get $5 off the race registration fee when signing up for the training clinics. See the registration form for details.
The Heart of Summer event will be held Saturday, July 25 at Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis. Half of the race proceeds will benefit the HealthEast Women's HeartAdvantage program.
