Surgery

When you need surgery, we provide education, support and care for a quick recovery. Your input is important and we encourage you to be involved in your care both before and after surgery.

Arthroscopy

An arthroscopy procedure uses a tiny high-powered scope inserted through a small incision in the skin. The scope lets your doctor look at the inside of a joint to pinpoint damage or disease. Arthroscopy can also be used to remove or repair damaged tissue.

Artificial disc surgery

Age or injury can cause the discs in the back to thin, reducing the cushion in between the vertebrae of the spine. The result is degenerative disc disease. Artificial disc surgery is a new option with many benefits over traditional treatment. Learn more.

Joint replacement

During a hip or knee replacement procedure, the surgeon removes the damaged cartilage and bone and places new metal and plastic joint surfaces to restore alignment and function of the joint.

If you are preparing for hip or knee replacement surgery, we offer a free, comprehensive pre-surgery class to answer your questions and get tips on rehabilitation.
