Welcome to St. Joseph's Maternity Care. We’re proud of our history. We’ve been caring for women and their families for more than 150 years.

Our caring, dedicated staff works hard to ensure that your baby’s birth is an exciting, meaningful event. We will give you and your baby the personalized, expert care and respect you deserve.

Experienced staff
At St. Joseph's, our experienced staff sets us apart. Our doctors, certified nurse-midwives and nurses have the knowledge and skill to gently see you through the birth of your baby.

Comfortable rooms
Our comfortable, private rooms were created with expectant moms in mind. We follow a family-centered model of care that allows most moms to stay in one room throughout labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum.

Your partner or support person is welcome to spend the night. A rocker and chair that pulls info a bed are available.

Waterbirth
We offer waterbirth as an option for labor and delivery. During a waterbirth, the baby is born under water and then brought out to take its first breath. Waterbirth has been found to have advantages for both mothers and babies and is as safe as a “land” birth.

Special Care Nursery
St. Joseph’s Special Care Nursery cares for infants who are born up to six weeks prematurely.

While most babies are born healthy, neonatal nurse practitioners are in the hospital at all times to handle any emergencies that may arise.
