Entrance hours & valet parking

St. Joseph's Hospital's main entrance is located at 45 West 10th Street, on the corner of St. Peter and 10th Street. Valet parking is available at this entrance Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 5 pm. The cost is $5 per vehicle. Simply drive to the hospital's main entrance and check your vehicle with the valet on duty.

St. Joseph's Hospital's Exchange Street entrance is open for patients and visitors from 8 am to 6 pm Monday thru Friday. This entrance will be locked on weekends and weekday between 6 pm and 8 am. Please use our main entrance at 45 West 10th Street.

Parking ramp

Patients and visitors are welcome to park in the St. Joseph's ramp. After parking, you may take the elevator to either the tunnel (T) level (to access to the Carondalet and JGM buildings) or to Level 1 to access the de Paul tower guest services desk at the main hospital entry.

Paying for parking

If you park in the ramp, you will pay using a computerized system at the ramp exit. There are no attendants on duty. You can pay with a credit card or cash. Exact change is not required.

For convenience and faster exit from the ramp, we encourage you to use the pay station at the 10th Street entrance to St. Joseph's. Cash, credit cards or coins can be used to pay for parking once you’re ready to leave.

On-street parking

There is some on-street parking near the hospital. Parking meters are enforced.

From The North

Take I-35E to the Wacouta/10th Street exit.
Follow the 10th Street signs and continue on 10th Street approximately six blocks.
The parking ramp will be on your right approximately one-half block past St. Peter Street.

From The South

Take I-35E north to the 11th Street exit.
Turn right onto St. Peter Street.
Go approximately one block and turn right onto 10th Street.
The parking ramp will be on your right approximately one-half block past St. Peter Street.

From The West

Take I-94 east to the 10th Street exit.
Follow 10th Street approximately one-third mile.
The parking ramp will be on your left.

From The East

Take I-94 west to the 12th Street exit.
Continue on 12th Street to Cedar Street.
Turn left on Cedar Street two blocks to 10th Street.
Turn right on 10th Street and continue two blocks.
The parking ramp will be on your right approximately one-half block past St. Peter Street.
