Support Groups

Whether you're contemplating it or have undergone weight loss surgery, support is essential every step of the way. Our support groups provide a safe place for you to get information and share thoughts, joys and challenges.

HealthEast Bariatric Care offers three support groups:

Connections

Connections is for Bariatric Care patients both before and after surgery. It is held the second Tuesday of each month at St. Joseph's Hospital. Get dates and times.

Connections: Post-Operative Support Group

This group is for Bariatric Care patients who have undergone surgery. It meets the fourth Thursday of each month at St. Joseph's Hospital. Get dates and times.

Lap Band Support Group

This new group is for people who are planning or have undergone weight loss surgery with Lap Band. The group meets the third Tuesday of the month at
St. Joseph's Hospital. Get dates and times.
