St. Joseph's Hospital is renovating and expanding our Emergency Department. During this time we are asking for EMS partnership to ensure we best meet your needs, as well as the needs of patients and visitors. Construction of the Emergency Department will take approximately 10 months to complete and will occur in three phases. Phase one started March 1, 2009.
We will continue to update this page throughout the construction project.
Phase 2 includes our north wing, driveway and parking lot near the Emergency Department.
St. Joseph's Hospital is committed to partnering with all of our EMS partners to ensure the best possible care for our patients and ease in access of services to our EMS providers. Here is some things we have put into place to meet the needs of both our patients and EMS partners:
In February 2010 the new ambulance garage and new emergency department expansion will be complete. All service will move into the new space and renovation of the old emergency room will begin.
During construction, we'd like to know how we are doing. We have placed a suggestion box at the refreshment station in the ED. Each month we will be posting communications regarding your input on a communications board within the ED department and here on our web site. We will also be pulling a name from the suggestion box each month for a special prize.
If there is anything that we can do to make access or communication easier, we want to hear from you.
