How soon can I book an appointment with HealthEast Medical Imaging? Can I fit my appointment into my work schedule?
Our clinic offers flexible hours. In many cases, we can schedule you for the same day you call for an appointment.
Why do I need to be at the clinic at least 30 minutes before my exam time?
It's necessary for you to arrive early in order to complete your paperwork and prepare for your exam.
What do I need to bring with me to facilitate the payment process?
Bring a photo ID and your complete insurance information, including your insurance card, ID number and group number. In addition, for workers' compensation claims and automobile injuries, bring your claim number, the date of injury and the name and address of your attorney.
Do I need preauthorization from my heath care policy or plan?
Some plans do require preauthorization. Check with yours to see if this is necessary. Your insurance company can also answer any questions you may have about what is covered and what is not.
Does HealthEast Medical Imaging file secondary claims as well as primary ones?
Yes, we do.
I don't have medical insurance. Can I get a price quotation on my procedure?
If you do not have medical insurance and/or you are concerned about paying for your procedure, call HealthEast Medical Imaging at 651-471-8000. We'll give you an estimate and work with you in setting up a payment plan.
May I get a copy of my films?
Yes, call HealthEast Medical Imaging to request a copy of films.
How long does HealthEast Medical Imaging keep my records on file?
We maintain the films and reports from your exam(s) in accordance with state laws (in most cases for a minimum of five to seven years).
Will I need a driver?
Some procedures require a driver for your safety (for example, if sedation or anesthetic are administered). When the appointment is made, you will be told if a driver is needed. Please make the necessary arrangements or let us know in advance so we can make arrangements for you.
Are there weight restrictions on certain exams?
In most cases, HealthEast Medical Imaging is successful in imaging patients of all body types.
How soon will I receive the results?
A transcribed report is sent to your doctor within 48 hours of your examination, usually sooner.
