Carrie is certified as a nurse midwife by the American College of Nurse-Midwives. |
Education: |
Carrie graduated from St. Olaf College in 1986 with a BA in biology and world religion. She received her BA in nursing in 1992 from St. Olaf as well. Carrie worked for three yeras in pediatric intensive care before entering the midwifery program at the University of Minnesota. Carrie received her master's degree in 1997. |

Carrie's interests are labor support, breastfeeding and well-woman care. |
Interests: |
Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband and four children. Carrie is also interested in spirituality, traveling, reading, knitting and snowboarding. |
