Dr. Shearer attended the College of St. Teresa in Winona and the University of Minnesota where she earned an undergraduate degree in medical technology. She completed medical school at the University of Minnesota and then her family medicine residency training at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Paul. |

Dr. Shearer has practiced as a family doctor since 1990 and has worked for HealthEast since 1997. She has worked in local clinics, urgent care centers and emergency departments. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and has volunteered for a local health care center. |
