(St. Paul, MN – Nov. 8, 2010) – HealthEast Clinics, a Twin Cities leader in delivering quality patient care, is excited to announce that the clinics are a winner of HealthPartners, Partners in Excellence (PIE) 2009-2010 Award. The award was given to HealthEast Clinics for:
- Evidence-based cervical cancer screening
- Patient experience - talking about choices for treatment
- Patient experience - being informed about patients needs
HealthEast Clinics also just received a 2010 Excellence in Patient Care Award from the Studer Group, as did the HealthEast Same-Day Surgery Centers at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Midway Surgery Center and Woodwinds Health Campus. They were among 49 organizations to receive this national honor which recognizes organizations demonstrating outstanding performance in patient care.
John Piatkowski, MD, VP, HealthEast Clinics Executive Medical Director, Mike McMahan, St. Joseph's Hospital Operations Executive and Stephanie Brown, HealthEast Customer Service Training Manager, accepted the awards on behalf of HealthEast.
