We're Moving to a New Patient Portal

Change is coming! iHealth was recently acquired by a company called Medfusion and will be going away. This means we will be moving iHealth users to our new patient portal powered by Medfusion. Medfusion is a market leader in patient and provider communication solutions.

The transition to the new portal will likely occur near the end of the year. Exact dates are still being determined and we'll be sharing more details as they are available.

Similar to iHealth, the new patient portal will be for established HealthEast Clinics patients. In addition to other features, it will offer:

Secure messaging with your provider
Online appointment requests
A secure online personal health record

What is a patient portal?

A patient portal is an online application that securely allows you to communicate with your doctor. While we don’t often use the term to describe iHealth, it is also a patient portal.

I’m already using iHealth. What do I need to do?

Your demographic information will be moved into the new patient portal. Once that happens, you will be notified of the change and invited to log in and begin using the new portal. You’ll be able to send and receive messages, similar to iHealth.

Can I still use iHealth?

If you are a current iHealth user, you can continue to use iHealth to contact your provider until we transition to the new portal. If you’ve created a personal health record (PHR) in iHealth, you’ll continue to have view-only access until September 2010. You will not be able to add new information to your PHR after the new portal launches.

If you are not using iHealth at this time, we encourage you to sign up and use secure messaging, but suggest you postpone setting up your personal health record (PHR) until after the transition to the new portal.

To sign up for messaging, visit our clinic locations web page and select your clinic. Then, simply click on the iHealth link under your clinician's name.
