HealthEast Optimum Rehabilitation

Our experienced therapists treat injuries, illnesses and post-surgical conditions of all kinds. Following a thorough evaluation, we create an individualized treatment plan to help speed your recovery and decrease the chance of another injury.

Education

It is important for you to understand the cause of your pain. Our therapists explain evaluation tools and treatment methods to help you understand how injuries, over time, can result in chronic pain.

You will learn:

  • Ways to manage symptoms
  • Lifestyle modifications
  • Relaxation techniques
  • Awareness of posture

Occupational therapy

Our occupational therapists focus on your pain, impaired motion or weakness to help you return to daily activities.

We assist with:

  • Exercise and activities of daily living
  • Cognition
  • Occupational and industrial rehabilitation
  • Hand and wrist rehabilitation after surgery
  • Hand/wrist problems (including carpal tunnel)
  • Neurological rehabilitation - Muscle and sensory re-education, coordination activities, range of motion and speech therapy to those patients who have experienced a neurological disorder such as a stroke or spinal cord injury.
