Those born at St. John's Hospital, along with babies born during the month of September will receive a special centennial gift. St. John's Hospital's free open house will be providing free health screenings, including total cholesterol, HDL, glucose and body mass index screenings. Check out leading-edge medical technology or take a step back in time and see the historical exhibits.
- St. Paul Diabetes Lions Club Waffle Breakfast
Saturday, Sept. 24, 9 am to 12 pm, St. John’s Northeast Crossing Café, 1575 Beam Ave, Maplewood
Enjoy a delicious breakfast with your family while supporting diabetes awareness and be inspired by one of Baseball's Hall of Famer, Lou Brock. During this baseball legend's free presentation at 10 am hear what diabetes has meant in his life. You will have an opportunity to meet him and receive his autograph. The cost for the breakfast is $7 for adults and $4 for children with proceeds going towards free community education programs.
