Having a baby is a beautiful, blessed event. But becoming a parent isn't always easy. We offer these resources for all of the ups and downs after your baby is born.
After discharge, you can get breastfeeding support by telephone or by scheduling an appointment with a certified lactation consultant. Call 651-232-3147 to schedule an appointment.
New Parent Connection
Co-lead by a South Washington County School infant specialist and a HealthEast Lactation Consultant. New Parent Connection meets at Woodwinds Health Campus, Auditorium C. Join the group at any time. No fee or registration is required.
- Birth to 3 months: Tuesdays, 12:30 to 1:30 pm (feeding discussion and support at the start of each meeting)
- 3 to 6+ months: Tuesdays, 4 to 5 pm
La Leche League of South Washington County
Meets at Woodwinds Health Campus near the fireplace on the lower level. The group meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7 pm.

MOMMIES MATTER POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION GROUP
Mommies Matter is a therapeutic group designed to provide postpartum depression intervention in a group format. This group is intended for women who have recently had a baby (within the past year) and are experiencing symptoms of postpartum depression.
Physician referral is required; please contact your HealthEast clinic if you are interested in attending.
Pregnancy Loss Support Group
This support group is for parents who have experienced a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillborn or newborn death. Parents are invited to come together, individually or with a family member.
