Dr. Holm is a board-certified internist/geriatrician.

Education

He attended medical school at the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Minnesota and participated in a fellowship with the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Minneapolis.

Professional activities

Dr. Holm is Medical Director of Medical Behavioral Care at Bethesda Hospital. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Family Practice at the University of Minnesota.

Practice interests

His research interests include geriatric behavioral psychopharmacology, behavioral management of the demented elderly, mood disorders in the elderly, and the medical psychiatry interface. Dr. Holm has been named a "Top Doc" by Mpls/St. Paul Magazine.
