Woodwinds Health Campus

Woodwinds Health Campus is a collaboration between HealthEast Care System and Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.

Woodwinds has been internationally recognized for its patient and family-centered model of care, as well as innovative design. The facility, which opened in 2000, is located on 30 acres of picturesque wetlands.

Woodwinds Health Campus includes an 86-bed hospital, with:

• Private patient rooms - with overnight accommodations for family)
• Orthopaedic Specialty Center - state-of-the-art treatment for most orthopaedic conditions
• 24-hour emergency care center - with coverage by pediatric emergency medicine doctors
• A range of outpatient services - including radiology, surgery, heart & lung care, sleep care, lab and infusion therapy
• Interpreter services

Healing arts therapies

Woodwinds is among a handful of hospitals in the country to successfully blend integrative health services with traditional medicine. Working with your doctor, our nursing staff is able to offer options including healing touch, guided imagery, essential oils and music therapy.

Natural Care Center

Woodwinds offers integrative services on an outpatient basis through The Natural Care Center. Located just inside the hospital, the center provides chiropractic care, acupuncture, oriental medicine, naturopathy and massage services. A Certified Master Herbalist is available to help choose supplements and oils.

On the campus

The Woodwinds campus has attracted a host of medical specialists and health care providers. Our medical office building includes clinics for primary and specialty care, osteoporosis care, midwifery services, pediatrics, outpatient rehabilitation, orthopaedic surgeons, cardiologists and OB/GYNs.
