How proceeds will be used
HealthEast Care System currently provides care for approximately 20,000 patients with spine problems. The goal of the program is to develop a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach by offering conservative care and surgical treatment options by a team of spine specialists. The collaborative care model improves physician and patient satisfaction, improves functional patient outcomes and reduces cost.
Festival of Trees funds will allow the program to:
- Develop a spine care registry
- Launch a clinical quality program to measure patient outcomes from the onset of diagnosis throughout the delivery of care
- Improve patient experience, functional patient outcomes and reduce cost by providing care management and support through the Spine Navigation Program
