How proceeds will be used

Bethesda serves many patients with complex medical conditions from out of state and greater Minnesota. The distance from home and community support resources compounds the tremendous grief and loss that these families are already experiencing due to the significant life transition caused by the medical condition of their loved ones.

Funding from Festival of Trees will allow Bethesda Hospital to build Hospitality Rooms where families will have space to relax and refresh. The money will help Bethesda:

• Fill the gap in accommodating families during a stressful time
• Provide a significant hospitable addition to the healing environment that is already created by the entire care team
• Meet the emotional needs of patients and families
