HealthEast Diabetes Care offers education and training to help you and your family manage diabetes, whether it's type 1, type 2 or gestational diabetes.
Since 1993, we have met the national standards for diabetes education.
In partnership with your doctor, our staff of professionals - certified diabetes educators, pharmacists and exercise specialists - offer education and training to help you and your family manage diabetes.
Most of our programs require either a doctor's recommendation or referral. Health insurance companies typically cover a portion of the cost for the services provided.
If you don't have insurance, you may qualify to have a portion of the services covered through a scholarship program established by the Lions 5M-6 Clubs and HealthEast Foundation. Donations to this program can be made by contacting Diabetes Care.
Wound Care
HealthEast Vascular Center is dedicated to the care of vascular disease (any illness or injury that affects the circulatory system). In addition to treating patients with arterial, venous and lymphatic diseases, the center treats patients with non-healing wounds.
For someone with diabetes or poor circulation, a simple foot wound can have a devastating impact. The team of specialists at the Vascular Center uses the latest medical technologies to help wounds heal faster.
