Amy is board certified in nurse-midwifery.
Amy received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Aurora University and both her master's degree in nursing and post master's degree in women's health care from Frontier Nursing University.
Prior to completing her master's degree, Amy was a labor and delivery nurse for 12 years in Level 1, 2 and 3 hospitals.
Her interests include the care of adolescent women through contraceptive and STD prevention. She is particularly interested in supporting women throughout labor and birth and providing informative prenatal care.
Amy enjoys bike riding, fishing, scrapbooking, doing crafts and spending time with her family.
