CyberKnife is now treating tumors that were once considered medically untreatable or surgically inoperable because of their proximity to critical structures, structures like the spine.
Additionally, patients who once had no options other than surgery now have a non-surgical option — an option that in many cases requires only five or fewer treatments.
Fewer treatments
Because CyberKnife has superior accuracy and unique tumor tracking ability it is able to safely deliver large doses of radiation directly to a tumor. That means fewer treatments and fewer trips for treatments.
