Treating physical, cognitive & emotional symptoms.
Concussion

If you or your kids are in sports, head injuries can be common. Do you know the symptoms of a concussion? Do you know what you should do if you have a concussion? Head to the HealthEast Concussion Clinic. As the longtime concussion experts, we treat the physical, cognitive and emotional symptoms often caused by head injuries.

About Concussions

A concussion is a temporary alteration of brain function due to trauma. It may or may not be caused by a blow to the head. A concussion can occur with a jolt or blow to the head causing a "dazed" feeling. You do not have to lose consciousness in order to experience a concussion. A concussion can also be diagnosed as a mild traumatic brain injury  (MTBI).
