Patient portal
A patient portal allows you to securely communicate online with your clinician. Our patient portal is for established HealthEast Clinics and Pain Center patients (provided your physician is enrolled in this service) and offers:
- Secure messaging with your clinician
- Online appointment requests

Create & use your account
Go here to access the patient portal. Click the "Create An Account" button to get started.
The portal is for non-urgent issues only. If you are experiencing an urgent medical issue or need a same-day appointment, please call your clinic. If it is an emergency, dial 911.
When you use the portal to send a message or appointment request, you will receive a response from your clinic within two business days. Please note that we are closed weekends, so we are not able to respond to messages on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Frequently asked questions
I forgot my User ID or Password. What should I do?
Go to the portal login page to:
- Request a reminder e-mail with your User ID
- Re-set your password
I was an iHealth user. What do I need to do?
To request appointments online or communicate with your clinician, you'll need to create an account on the new patient portal.
Will the information in my iHealthRecord be transferred to the new portal?
Yes, information in your iHealth personal health record will transition to the new patient portal at some point in the future. We'll be sharing more details as they are available.
I’ve started a personal health record in the new portal. Why can’t I edit my information?
We are aware of this issue. Medfusion (the patient portal company) is working to resolve it. In the meantime, if you created a personal health record in iHealth, we encourage you to continue to use it.
Who can see what’s in my personal health record? Can my doctor see it?
Only you have access to the information you enter. Your doctor cannot see it. This is why it’s important to share information you've added to your personal health record with your doctor.
I sent a message or appointment request. When will I get a response?
Please allow two business days for responses. We are closed weekends, so we are not able to respond on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Can I request appointments or send messages regarding individuals besides myself?
Please do not send messages about another person through your portal account. Messages and answers sent through the portal will file directly into the chart of the person whose account is used to send the message. If you would like to send a message regarding your child (age birth to 11 years), you will need to create a new account for your child.
Can teens use the portal?
To protect the privacy of our adolescent patients, we are not offering appointment requests and secure messaging to patients who are ages 12 to 17. This includes any online communications with parents of children in this age range. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Can I create an account if I have not yet seen a provider at a HealthEast Clinic?
Sorry, but we cannot accept your portal registration request until you have been seen by a HealthEast Clinics provider. Please refrain from creating an account until that time.
Can I have my labs sent to me through the patient portal?
Yes, you can request lab results through the portal in two different ways:
- Ask your clinician (or nurse) to send your lab results to you through the portal.
- Send a secure message using the “Ask A Provider” option in the portal. Your clinic will securely reply to your message with the labs you requested.
Where do I find my lab results?
If you requested that lab results be sent to you via the portal, your clinic will send them in the form of a secure message. Log in to the portal and check the "My Inbox" area for new messages.
If you created a personal health record, please note that info from your clinic record (like lab results) will not file directly into your personal health record.
Can I have reports sent to me through the portal?
We are not able to attach and send documents through the portal. We can send free text information and info from our system that's not in the form of a report. Examples of what can and can’t be sent to you via the portal include:
Can be sent:
- Allergy list
- Diagnosis list
- Immunization records
- Lab results
- Medication lists
- Vital signs
Cannot be sent:
- Dictations from an office visit
- EKG reports
- Health care directives
- Radiology reports
- Reports received from other health care organizations
