Breastfeeding Basics

This class is designed to provide the basic, essential information needed for breastfeeding success. This class contains more detailed information than that offered in our childbirth preparation classes. Bring your partner to this class.

This one-session class will cover:

  • Benefits of breastfeeding

  • Preparing for breastfeeding

  • Role of support person

  • Avoiding and solving problems

    • For classes at the Maplewood Professional Building: The address is 1655 Beam Ave., near St. John's Hospital. Classes meet in the Watson Education Center, located in suite 202.
