Learn the basics of Pilates with focus on proper breathing, precise, controlled movement and increased body awareness. Pilates is especially helpful when recovering from injury or surgery but also beneficial for those wanting to improve core strength and body alignment. Each exercise is modified to your individual skill/strength level for maximum effect while minimizing risk of injury. This class is truly for beginners. Many exercises can be performed sitting or standing. Bring a pillow and exercise mat to class.

This six-session class is for those wishing to learn Pilates basics in a low key, hands on environment. Class limited to 12 participants.
