Understanding Lymphedema

This support group is for anyone who has Lymphedema and their family and friends. Individuals who have had cancer surgery that involves removal of lymph node and/or radiation sometimes experience a side effect called Lymphedema. Lymphedema can also occur for reasons other than cancer. This condition is characterized by swelling of am arm or leg as a result of fluid build up. The group gives individuals an opportunity to share information, voice concerns and ask questions regarding Lymphedema. All are welcome and no referral is needed.

The group is open to the public and no registration is needed.
