Free Seminar: New hip replacement technology

If hip pain is slowing you down, we'd like to invite you to a FREE seminar to learn about the newest technology in total hip replacement surgery.

To attend, please RSVP online or call 651-232-6704.

The Orthopaedic Specialty Center at Woodwinds Health Campus – an area leader in hip replacement – is now offering a less invasive alternative to traditional surgery.

A new option, called "direct anterior hip replacement," allows the surgeon to reach the hip joint from the front, rather than the side or back of the hip. This approach lets the surgeon work between the muscles and tissues, rather than needing to detach them during surgery.

For patients, this new approach can mean:

  • Faster recovery – The new surgical method works between your muscles, helping you get back on your feet faster.
  • Smaller incision – Because of our innovative technique, the incision is minimized as well as the impact to your body.
  • Less restrictions – Thanks to high-tech advancements, you may be able to bend, stand and move soon after surgery.

Imagine a life without hip pain. Join us and learn more at a free seminar on Wednesday, June 27 at Woodwinds Health Campus in Woodbury, Minn. Valet parking will be available.

The evening's speaker will be Dr. Jack Drogt, orthopaedic surgeon and CEO of Summit Orthopaedics. He'll explain the procedure and answer your questions.
