Education sessions

Infant Massage - 1 pm                      

Valerie Johnson, NCTMB, is a nationally certified massage therapist at The Natural Care Center at Woodwinds. She currently teaches infant massage, geriatric and hospital-based massage, and an introductory massage workshop.

Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) and “Back to Sleep” - 1:45 pm

Shea Hermes, NNP works at HealthEast in the NICU at St. John’s and in the Special Care Nurseries at St. Joseph’s and Woodwinds.

Pros and Cons of Circumcision, Immunizations; Q & A  - 2:30 pm

John Kelly, MD is a board certified pediatrician.  He works at the HealthEast Maplewood Clinic. Dr. Kelly is a 1991 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics

Car Seat Safety - 3:15 pm

Kalease Smith is a Health Educator with Ramsey County Public Health.  She is a certified car seat inspector.
