How do I apply for a position with HealthEast Care System?

Please apply online through our Career Center.  Click the grey button to search jobs or login. If you are a current HealthEast employee, click the blue button.

Can you give examples of jobs in the categories below?

  • Clerical/Office - General 
    Examples of jobs are:
    accounts payable rep, admitting services rep, billing rep, computer operator, customer service rep, data entry operator, human resources assistant, information & scheduling, mail clerk, office/supply coordinator, payroll coordinator, staffing coordinator, switchboard operator

  • Clerical/Office - Medical
    Examples of jobs are:
    CD intake coordinator, coding/billing coordinator, data specialist, health information coordinator, health unit coordinator, HIS assistant, medical transcriptionist, medical secretary, surgery scheduler

I applied for a position several weeks ago and noticed that the job is still posted.  Do I need to reapply?

It is not necessary for you to reapply if the job is still posted.  Human Resources reviews all profiles and applications received for each position and calls appropriate candidates for interviews. They will also notify you of your status via e-mail. 

How long do you keep my profile on file?

Currently, profiles are kept in our database indefinitely so we encourage you to update your information regularly.

The position I applied to requires a test.  What should I do?

Human Resources will contact you if you are selected to take a test.

How can I check the status of my application?

Human Resources will notify you of your status via e-mail. You may also contact the Human Resources location for the position in which you applied.

Where is the Human Resources office located?

HealthEast Care System has several Human Resource offices located throughout our various locations. Get a list here.

May I attach or paste my resume when applying online?

Yes, and we encourage you to do so.  We recommend that you use the "import your resume" option; however, there are several ways to include your resume.

Importing your resume:

Using this option is quick and easy and will load the content of your resume into your profile. Clicking on the "browse" button will allow you to access your resume from your files. Click on your resume file and click "submit." Review the profile form after you import your resume to make sure all of the required fields are completed with the correct information. Please do not include a cover letter with your resume. 

Note: The file you import must be in one of the following formats: Microsoft Word (.doc), Adobe PDF (.pdf) or a text file (.txt).  

Cut and paste your resume:

If your resume is a word processing document and you are not able to import a copy, you can copy and paste (rather than attach) the text in the area provided.  If you do not have a resume, tell us more about your professional skills, qualifications and work history in this space.

Attach additional documents:

Click on "browse" to attach any documents that you would like to include, such as a cover letter or references. Do not attach your resume in the "additional documents" space.

Is it necessary to complete all the fields within the on-line profile?

Decisions are made based on the information you submit in the profile.  The information you provide is your opportunity to let us know how you can support our needs in a particular position. It is to your advantage to make sure you accurately and completely communicate your skills, education, experience, availability, salary expectation, licensures, registries, etc. in your profile.  We can only review the fields you have completed.  If the information is related to how you can perform the job, remember to complete the field. 

All fields with a red asterisk (*) must be completed in order for you to successfully submit a profile for a position.

What if I want to apply for a position that is not currently posted?

Our system does not allow you apply for positions that are not posted; however, you can create a profile and set up a Job Agent.  A Job Agent will notify you via e-mail when a position becomes available that matches your career interests and abilities.
