For the fifth year in a row, HealthEast Care System has been named one of the "Best Places to Work" by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.

HealthEast achieved the award based on:

Great results from hundreds of employees who completed the
Business Journal's survey
Low employee turnover rate
High employee, patient and physician satisfaction rates

HealthEast was one of the top ten scoring businesses among Minnesota companies with more than one thousand employees.

The Business Journal determines the best places to work in part via a 40-question online survey. A 5% participation rate is required to qualify for the award. At HealthEast, over 10% of employees participated in the survey.

Modern Healthcare Magazine

Modern Heathcare has also named HealthEast one of the Top 100 "Best Places to Work in Healthcare" — in the nation. HealthEast is one of just two health care organizations in theTwin Cities to receive this honor.

This awards and honors program recognizes workplaces in healthcare that enable employees to perform at their optimum level to provide patients and customers with the best possible care and services.

To determine those workplaces, Modern Healthcare entered into a partnership with the Best Companies Group, a firm that conducts regional "best places to work" programs across the country. Organizations and companies from all segments of the healthcare industry with a minimum of 25 full-time employees were eligible.

On behalf of Modern Healthcare, the Best Companies Group conducted two surveys of healthcare organizations and companies that volunteered to participate. The first survey was a questionnaire for a participating employer. The second was a satisfaction survey of a participating company's employees.
