To find breast cancer in women without symptoms, the American Cancer Society recommends that women 40 and older should have a mammogram every year and should continue to do so for as long as they are in good health. While mammograms can miss some cancers, they are still a good way to find cancer.
Women at high risk of breast cancer should talk with their doctor about the best approach for them. This might mean starting mammograms when you are younger, having extra tests or having more frequent exams.
To schedule a mammogram
There are two easy ways to make a mammogram appointment:

- For hospital locations call 651-232-5500 and select option "2." Scheduling hours are Monday through Friday, 7 am to 6 pm.
- For HealthEast Medical Imaging, HealthEast Midway Clinic or HealthEast Roselawn Clinic, call 651-232-4877.

Submit the form and we'll call you within one business day to schedule your appointment.
Whether scheduling by phone or requesting an appointment online, please have the following information available:
- Correct spelling of your doctor's first and last names
- Date of your last mammogram
- Name of the facility where your previous mammogram was performed
- If your last mammogram was at a non-HealthEast facility, please complete, sign and send a
Release of Information form to your previous provider. This may take up to two weeks to
be completed.
To prepare for your mammogram
Please contact the facility where your previous mammogram was performed and have it sent to the HealthEast Breast Care location where you will have your mammogram.
Your radiologist will need your previous mammogram to look for any changes in your breasts. HealthEast will mail it back after your appointment.
