Brain Injury

Finding solutions for daily living.
Brain Injury

Our brain injury programs address both the physical and mental aspects of treatment. Traumatic or acquired brain injury survivors receive personalized treatment, with a focus on observing behavior and finding solutions for daily living. Our ultimate goal aligns with yours: help reintegrate our patients into the community. HealthEast offers both an inpatient Brain Injury Services program and an outpatient Brain Injury Clinic.

Brain Injury Clinic

Our outpatient brain injury clinic provides care for clients 18 years of age and older who are living in the community with a brain injury. Our program offers an interdisciplinary approach to brain injury including medication management, psychology, and physical, occupational and speech therapy based on client needs. We first assess cognitive, behavioral and physical needs, then we develop individual treatment plans, incorporating behavioral management into the overall rehabilitation program. In addition to outpatient care, HealthEast also offers inpatient brain injury programs.
