Fishin' for Parkinson's

A full day and evening to benefit the Capistrant Center

Join us Saturday, October 2 in Bayport on the beautiful St. Croix River for Fishin' for Parkinson's. The event benefits the Capistrant Center for Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders and is for fishing enthusiasts of all ages. Two-person amateur teams will compete for trophies and prizes.

The tournament isn't just for fishing fans. The day will also feature:

• Shoreline Family Fun Day in Lakeside Park
• Four-course surf and turf dinner at the Lake Elmo Inn Convention Center

The Capistrant Center at Bethesda Hospital provides medical evaluations, treatment, support and resources for those with Parkinson's disease and movement disorders.

Education & support

Education is one of the most important tools patients and families have in treating movement disorders. We offer exercise and wellness classes geared specifically to those with movement disorders. We also offer a Parkinson's support group, a safe place for patients and families to share information, as well as receive and provide support.
