Founded in 1883, we have a history of making history. Bethesda, a member of HealthEast Care System, has grown from a small, community hospital to the largest long-term acute care hospital in the region.
In 2008, Bethesda Hospital celebrated 125 years of serving patients and their families.
We’re different from other facilities because we provide an integrated program – treating the physical, emotional, spiritual and social aspects of our patients. We treated more than 1,128 inpatients last year – more than any comparable facility in the Midwest.
