Whether you're contemplating it or have undergone weight loss surgery, support is essential every step of the way. Our support groups provide a safe place for you to get information and share thoughts, joys and challenges.

HealthEast Bariatric Care offers three support groups:

Connections

Connections is for Bariatric Care patients both before and after surgery. It is held the second Tuesday of each month at St. Joseph's Hospital 3M Education Center (A-B room). Get dates and times.

Connections: Post-Operative Support Group

This group is for Bariatric Care patients who have undergone surgery and are at least three months post-surgery. It meets the fourth Monday of each month at St. Joseph's Hospital 3M Education Center (C-D room). Get dates and times.

Lap Band Support Group

Due to low participation, the Lap-Band group has been temporarily put on hold. We encourage patients who have gone through a Lap-Band procedure to attend the Connections Support group on the second Tuesday of the month. If you are looking to attend a Lap-Band specific group, the HealthEast Bariatric Care clinical staff can refer you to another program in the area.
