Dr. Rashid graduated from Aga Khan University, Medical School in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Minnesota, followed by a Clinical Chief Residency. She earned a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Minnesota.
Practice interests
Dr. Rashid’s interests include immigrant and refugee medicine, bioethics, global health (focusing on women with HIV/AIDS), tuberculosis, and antimicrobial stewardship. She has presented her research in local and national meetings, as well as in several publications. In regard to patient care, she is dedicated and compassionate as a physician and clinician.
