Certification

Kathryn is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an adult and gerontological nurse practitioner.

Education

Kathryn is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College with a bachelor's degree in nursing and earned a Master's degree from the University of Minnesota with a focus in nursing education. She also completed post-graduate work at the College of St. Catherine for the Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program.

Professional activities

Kathryn has taught in the Gustavus Nursing program, specifically in Medical-surgical and ICU disciplines.

Practice interests

Kathryn has a strong interest in patient education, which she feels is a priority.
