Michel Cramer Bornemann MD
Dr. Cramer Bornemann is board certified in sleep medicine, a diplomat on the American Board of Sleep Medicine and a
fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Cramer Bornemann attended the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his internal medicine residency at Hennepin County Medical Center. He completed fellowships through the Hennepin County Medical Center, University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinics, and Minnesota Regional Sleep Disorders Center.
He's been active on committees within the American Academy of Sleep Medicine most notably as the chair of the Parasomnia section of the Revision Task Force for the International Classification of Sleep Disorders (ICSD 3rd ed.). He is an active writer having published in over 50 peer-reviewed journals and textbooks including the Journal of Forensics
Sciences, American Journal of Cardiology, Brain, and Mayo Clinic
Proceedings. He is the founder and lead investigator of Sleep Forensics Associates.
Aside from obstructive sleep apnea and insomnia, Dr. Cramer Bornemann enjoys practicing the full spectrum of sleep medicine with a keen interest in parasomnias.
