She is board certified in clinical cardiovascular diseases and is certified by the National Board of Echocardiography.

Education

After graduating from Harvard College, Dr. Wokhlu received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins Medical School. She completed her residency and advanced cardiac MRI training at Duke Medical Center and completed cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology training at Mayo Clinic.

Professional activities

Dr. Wokhlu was formerly an assistant professor of internal medicine at the Mayo Graduate School, has co-authored a device textbook, and has published on the outcomes of atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation.

Practice interests

Dr. Wokhlu has expertise in the management of patients with arrhythmias. This includes drug management and ablations of supraventricular tachycardias, atrial fibrillation/flutter, premature ventricular contractions, and ventricular tachycardia, as well as implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, and biventricular device therapy. She also interprets cardiac MRI.
