He is board certified in cardiovascular disease, clinical cardiac electrophysiology and internal medicine.

Education

Dr. Dunbar graduated from Ohio State University Medical School. He completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Minnesota.

Professional activities

Dr. Dunbar was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center for eight years until 1993 when he joined St. Paul Heart Clinic. He has been the Director of the Electrophysiology Lab at St. Joseph's Hospital since 2005 and in 2011, he joined HealthEast Heart Care.

Practice interests

He has a special interest in the ablation of ventricular arrhythmias including ablation of very frequent PVCs which may cause symptoms and weaken the heart.
