Dr. Scanlon is board certified in internal medicine and has a certificate of added qualifications in geriatrics. Dr. Scanlon is a fellow of the American College of Physicians.

Education

He graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Professional activities

Dr. Scanlon is Medical Director of Complex Medical Care at Bethesda Hospital. He is an active member of the American Geriatric Society and Academy of Hospice Physicians. He has been named a "Top Doc" by Mpls/St. Paul Magazine.

Practice interests

Aside from his interest in general internal medicine, Dr. Scanlon has broadened his expertise into the areas of geriatrics and hospice care.

Dr. Scanlon's personal interests include family, sports and travel.
