Certification

Dr. Votel has been board certified in obstetrics and gynecology since 1990.

Education

After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, she attended the University of Minnesota Medical School where she also completed her OB/GYN residency.

Professional activities

Dr. Votel started the Partners OB/GYN practice in 1991 after working a few years at another Twin Cities OB/GYN clinic. She is currently a board member of Premier OB/GYN, Maplewood Surgery Center and the University Of St. Catherine Henrietta Schmoll School Of Health. She was voted a Top Doctor by Mpls/St. Paul Magazine and one of the Best Doctors for Women by Minnesota Monthly numerous years.

Practice interests

She has an interest in robotic surgery, robotic pelvic repair/support evaluations and treatments, and urinary incontinence.

Personal interests

Dr. Votel enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dogs. She enjoys education, gardening, swimming, boating and skiing.
